menuinthemenubar.OnacomputerusingWindowsXP,holdthepointerover
thewirelessconnectioniconuntilyouseeyourAirPortnetworkname(SSID),and
chooseitfromthelistiftherearemultiplenetworksavailable.
ThedefaultnetworknameforanApplebasestationisAirPortNetworkXXXXXX,
whereXXXXXXisreplacedwiththelastsixdigitsoftheAirPortID,alsoknowasthe
MediaAccessControlorMACaddress.TheAirPortIDisprintedonthebottomofan
AirPortExtreme.
2 OpenAirPortUtility,locatedintheUtilitiesfolderintheApplicationsfolderon
acomputerusingMacOSX,orinStart>AllPrograms>AirPortonacomputer
usingWindows.
3 SelectyourbasestationandclickContinue.
4 FollowtheonscreeninstructionstocongureandshareInternetaccessonyour
AirPortExtreme.
UsingAirPortUtilityisaquickandeasywaytosetupyourbasestationandnetwork.
Ifyouwanttosetadditionaloptionsforyournetwork,suchasrestrictingaccesstoyour
network,orsettingadvancedDHCPoptions,youcanchooseManualSetupfromthe
