Using the RS 170
Switching the transmitter off
̈ Press the multi-function button for approx. 1 second.
The multi-function button goes off. The transmitter is in standby
mode.
To disconnect the transmitter from the mains:
̈ Pull out the mains plug from the wall socket.
Please note that In this case, the headphones’ rechargeable batteries
will not be recharged.
If the headphones are outside the transmission range or switched
off for more than 5 minutes, the transmitter automatically switches
to standby mode. The multi-function button goes off. In
standby mode, the transmitter’s power consumption is very low so
that it can remain connected to the mains.
