閃光燈600EX-RT與閃光燈600EX都可以用光脈衝傳送進行無線
閃光燈拍攝。
裝在相機上的600EX-RT/600EX叫做主控單元，以無線方式控制
的600EX-RT/600EX叫做從屬單元。
利用配備有主控功能的EOS數碼相機與閃光燈發射器ST-E2
